Sudan

In Sudan people have found oil in the south where the tribal people live while the people in the north who run the country also want the oil. They have had a history of violence and people believe that this violence could surface again. People are voting to see if the south will gain independence from the north. We should care because if a war does happen it could affect many people and maybe even us. you can help by going to Sudanactionnow.org and signing a petition for the US government to act on this situation.
